Yesterday my sis-ter gave me the task of making her a thank you card for an interview that she recently went on. She did not give me any more direction than that, so the design was all up to me. I created four different ones for her to choose from. All were simple and professional and I believe perfect for what she was looking for!
Now let's all cross our fingers that she gets the internship!

Valentine's Day
As time often does, I am sure it is going to start passing quickly. Because of this, while I was at April's today (thanks to her encouragement) I got Alia's school Valentine's created. They are these cute little purses that will fit a Hersey's nugget inside. I found the tutorial on Splitcoaststampers. I tried to look for it so I could provide the link, but I couldn't find it. Maybe it will show up tomorrow and I can give you the link then.
Crafty Weekend
So last weekend I was in a rather crafty mood. I ended up crafting all Sunday and ended up with quite a few cute cards. I am not sure what I am going to do with them yet, but I am sure they will come in handy in the future :)
Christmas Crafts
Christmas was a BIG crafty holiday for me this year. I made all of my Christmas cards and ofcourse I never took any pictures of them before I sent them out! I didn't stick to one design. Instead I made probably 20 different ones. I had so much fun despite the fact that I got slightly stressed out towards the end because I just could not seem to find the time to get them all done. Even though I didn't take pictures of my cards, I did manage to take a picture of the paper tree that I made for my mom. I feel in love with this tree when I first saw it on one of my favorite crafty blogs, Polished to Perfection. So I made it for my mom and dad, since I don't have anywhere to display things at my house at the moment.
Along with this tree, I also made my parents a personalized Memory Lane game and my sister a NCSU light block. And ofcourse my yearly calendars for everyone.

The first of many to come :)
I've been crafting for quite some time now. If you ask my mother, she would tell you I was born with it in my blood! For awhile, I let my creative side go. But when you have it in your blood, it always cycles back though.
I look forward to posting some of the things I create. I hope they will inspire you to be creative too!
Always,
Jenn
